Good Vision - Eye Sight

One of the worst things that a person can do to his eyes is to expose them to prolonged computer or television use.  Without knowing it, the eyes endure so much stress and strain because of the lack of lubrication, eye strain, and stress.

Keeping glued to the ‘Tube’ or working too long in front of the computer is harmful to our eyesight because of the lack of lubrication the eyes get during these actions.  People that are focused on the screen of either the television or the monitor tend to blink less than normal.  This lessens the amount of lubrication to the eyes and makes the eyes break down faster.  Blinking provides not only lubrication, but also is a means for the body to clean the eyes’ surface.  This is very important when it comes to naturally improving vision so it is strongly recommended that these activities be lessened.

Watching television and using the computer also adds strain to the muscles and other parts of the eyes.  These actions keep the eyes at a steady point so the muscles of the eyes are forced to keep their position for prolonged periods of time.  Shifting gazes and regular movement of the eyes are important to keeping vision at tiptop shape.  The bright lights and the strong rays that are emitted from the screens of both the television and the computer monitor also stress the eyes since they have to focus and adjust to the harsh and bright lights.

Natural vision improvement is really quite easy.  All there is to do is make sure that people take into consideration the stresses on the eyes and the effects of their daily habits and lifestyles have on vision.  Bing conscious about wanting to improve their vision is pretty much the very first step to natural vision improvement.

Lessen television viewing and computer use for the sake of your eyes.  If these activities are necessary, then try to take short breaks in between periods of doing these activities.  These little breaks will do wonders for the health and well-being of your vision.
